Lovely Lavender|Fragrant herb Lavender|Gardening tips for Lavender|Lavender in cooking|Medicial values of Lavender

Lavender has been a favorite herb for centuries. The historic use and recognition of lavender is almost as old the history of man. As an herb, lavender has been in documented use for over 2,500 years. With its delicate, purple flowers and woodsy, floral scent, lavender is more often known for its role in bath and relaxation products, rather than for its culinary uses. But this trend is changing now. There are lavender-kissed almonds adorning a fig tart, a lavender crene brulee, an avant garde lavender nitro foam, lavender salman salad, Thai lettuice cups with lavender-mango chutney, lavender cupcakes, lavender honey chilled carrot soup and so many other varieties popping up in the big restaurants. This attributes the growing popularity of lavender in culinary uses. Lavender is not limited to the fine dining, either. Patrons are getting licks of lavender at ice cream parlors that feature gourmet flavors, and sipping lavender milk tea at few boba shops. More home cooks also using lavender, as they become aware of lavender's distinctive culinary qualities. Adds flowery essence to sweet things, but to savory things it's an herb. Both buds and flowers work with as a flavor component and as a garnish.

Google Images|GOOGLE IMAGES|Revamped Interface of Google Images|More Relavant results of Google images

Today--20th of JUly 2010, Tuesday--Google Images gets Revamped Interface, making it easier to use. More Relevant search results now. The new look is designed to reduce the number of clicks it takes to find the image you are looking for and to provide more information about a particular image without having to click through to the result. Mainly focusing on the image browsing efficient. What is the main noticeable change? The elimination of the text or 'cruft' from the search results page, leaving a mosaic of images. This means that the metadata will only show up as a user hovers(or clicks) over the image result. The other search options that are within the Google--such as the ability to search by line art, the color of the image, etc--will be maintained. It is now possible to generate 1,000 results per page on Google Images. This can be accessible by an 'infinite scroll' function which adds more results as we scrolls down the page. Currently, Google Images frames the page, showing a thumbnail of the image. Now, the image will be blown up, with a faded view of the originating web page in the background. Other features will be on their way, such as timeline-based searching of images.

SOLAR ECLIPSE|July 11, 2010 Solar Eclipse|Total Solar Eclipse|Solar Eclipse 2010
A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and Earth, blotting out some or all of the sun. The moon blocks the light from the sun and casts a shadow on Earth. Last year's total solar eclipse — the longest one of the 21st century — fell over a wide swath of Asia. This year, a total solar eclipse on July 11 has the potential to give some ground-based observers a stunning five-minute celestial show. The eclipse has been seen in person only along a narrow slice of the Southern Hemisphere. Total eclipse thrills South Pacific skywatchers. Sun turns dark amid cloudy skies over Easter Island.
